René Henderson

REALTOR®, Designer

René is an 18-year resident of Dallas. She grew up in Plymouth, Michigan a suburb of Detroit. From an early age, René had a love for interior design, architecture, and historic preservation. Prior to her career in real estate, she attended The Art Institute of Colorado and later earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts at The Illinois Institute of Art in Chicago. René has worked in Interior Design for Restoration Hardware, Neiman Marcus, and Studio 11 Design. She now owns her own design firm doing residential and commercial projects. She has experience in designing and managing small and large residential, retail, multi-family, and hospitality projects.

René has a passion for helping others – whether it be finding their perfect home, selling their current home or upgrading/renovating/modernizing their current living space by creating beautiful, functional interiors inspired by her client’s personal style. She combines real estate and design for many of her clients. Serving the community is very important to René; she is currently a board member of the Valley View Neighborhood association, school PTA and Big Six foundation benefitting RISD elementary schools.

When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, taking care of her plants (indoor and outdoor), exploring new places in the city or traveling.
